Malta is packed with history, stunning coastlines, and charming towns. If you’re visiting for the first time, these are the must-see attractions:

Valletta – Malta’s capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its historic streets, St. John’s Co-Cathedral, and the Upper Barrakka Gardens for panoramic harbor views.
Mdina – Known as the “Silent City,” this medieval walled town offers narrow streets, beautiful architecture, and breathtaking views from its bastions.
Blue Lagoon (Comino) – Famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, it’s one of Malta’s best spots for swimming, snorkeling, and boat trips.
Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples – These prehistoric megalithic temples date back over 5,000 years and are among the oldest free-standing structures in the world.
The Three Cities (Vittoriosa, Senglea, and Cospicua) – Rich in maritime history, these fortified towns provide a quieter alternative to Valletta with scenic waterfronts.
Marsaxlokk Fishing Village – A picturesque harbor filled with colorful traditional fishing boats (called luzzus), seafood restaurants, and a lively Sunday market.

If you have 3 days, prioritize Valletta, Mdina, the Blue Lagoon, and either Gozo or the Blue Grotto. With 5–7 days, you can comfortably explore all of these highlights while enjoying Malta’s beaches and local cuisine.
